The Website Designer will design visually engaging, user-centric websites that align with brand identity and enhance the user experience. The role requires a strong eye for aesthetics, responsive design skills, and the ability to turn client requirements into beautiful, functional websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop visually appealing, responsive website designs, wireframes, and layouts based on client needs and industry best practices.
- Improve user experience through intuitive navigation and device-friendly design.
- Translate brand guidelines into cohesive design elements, including colour schemes, typography, and visual components.
- Work with multimedia elements such as images, videos, and animations to create visually rich content.
- Collaborate closely with developers so designs translate accurately into functional websites.
- Update and refine existing designs based on feedback and performance insights.
- Apply accessibility and on-page SEO best practices to modern web design work.
- Communicate regularly with clients, present drafts, and iterate based on feedback.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of website design experience with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
