Shopify Specialist

The Shopify Specialist is responsible for developing, optimising, and maintaining high-performing e-commerce stores on the Shopify platform. The role includes theme customisation, app integration, and user experience improvements that help drive conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and customise Shopify stores to client specifications.
- Develop custom Shopify themes from scratch or modify existing themes to meet client needs.
- Identify, integrate, and manage Shopify apps to improve store functionality and customer experience.
- Implement SEO, page speed, and mobile responsiveness best practices for e-commerce stores.
- Assist with product uploads, inventory updates, and categorisation to keep stores organised and accurate.
- Analyse store performance and recommend improvements to conversion rate and average order value.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support for theme and app issues.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and clients to align store functionality with business goals.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of Shopify development experience with a strong e-commerce track record.
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
