In case you already didn’t know, there is a new domain space “.au” available for anyone with a verified connection to Australia. So if you have a .com.au domain name for your business, we recommend considering buying the .au domain to protect your brand.
During the first 6 months of the new .au domain, there will be priority domain registration given to existing domain owners in the .com.au, id.au etc domain space. For example for BSharp Tech we already own bsharptech.com.au and so we are given registration priority to register bsharptech.au until 20th of September 2022 to register the domain. After this time, anybody could register the domain, which could substantially disrupt your brand if you don’t act by Sept!
