What is Paid Search?

Paid search is a digital marketing strategy where businesses pay to have their advertisements displayed on search engine results pages (SERPs) when users search for specific keywords related to their products or services. These ads typically appear at the top or bottom of the search results, clearly marked as ads, and are charged on a pay-per-click (PPC) basis, meaning advertisers pay a fee each time their ad is clicked. The main goal of paid search is to attract traffic to a website more quickly than organic search strategies, offering immediate visibility and targeted exposure to potential customers.
